Appearances

So I was graciously allowed to give a brief counter point to my Geekvision co-worker Trilbee in his review of the Amazing Spider-Man. You should check it out. Also my buds over at the Made of Fail podcast kindly allowed to sit in on their discussion of The Dark Knight Rises. It's a very spoilery discussion, so be forewarned, but I had a blast doing it.

Geekvision and CAA - Watchmen

Also, I can now say that Comics Are Awesome has been picked up by the new site: Geekvision.tv

What does that mean for this blog? Not much, I'll still post things here, but really you all should check out Geekvision. Full of reviews and other content from talented producers, it's just a great avenue to expose people the awesome comics featured in Comics Are Awesome. Also, that site looks like a million times better than this one.

New Logo

Look up and you'll see a neat piece of art as the header/logo on the top of this blog. This was done up by Stephan Krosecz, a talented artist and a fellow reviewer who does a show called "Animated Analysis". Check out Stephan's website here: http://sketchdcomedy.com

More cool news to come soonish.

Gallifrey One - 2012

Some footage of my trip to Gallifrey One, the biggest North American Doctor Who convention. It was an amazing time and I recommend it to all my friends. (Also the girl in the blue Tardis dress is Megan Christopher, who created her own webseries, "Quest for Comicon" which is pretty good and you should check it out: Meganchristopher.net

Comics Are Awesome - Dungeons & Dragons (IDW)

For some reason this was a lot of fun to put together, and once I got off my butt, probably one of my fastest episodes to go from script to published video, but I don't think it shows too much in the final product. As always, your thoughts, comments, and laughing disdain at the poor geek is appreciated!

Star Trek: Galilea

This isn't really Comics Are Awesome related, or even comics related, but I thought some people might be interested in this. Made of Fail productions (home of the Made of Fail podcast amongst other things) has started branching into audio dramas and I was tapped to play one of the roles. I'm not really an actor, but I do think the first episode came out very well, mostly due in part to the great cast and the great work of the producer, Kevin. So do me a favor and check it out and share with those you think might appreciate it!
